When Katherine was awarded Summary Judgment (which we are trying to reverse), she filed a Motion for Final Judgment--requesting the Judge sign and rule a final order to completely close the case.
She asked the Judge for various things. However, what keeps me awake at night is that she specifically asked to:
--remove my name from the birth certificate (so Liam would never know who I am)
--change Liam's name (his middle name is my surname)
She may be angry at me for trying to preserve our relationship with Liam--her original intention of making sure her child had a FATHER (she could easily have gone through an anonymous sperm bank, but she wanted Liam to have a father). But now that it is inconvenient for her, to completely alter Liam's life and try to erase any link to me? Speechless. Stunned. But more shockingly, so hurtful to Liam.
