a great day!

After 2.25 years and because of the amazing work of our attorneys: Kornreich and Associates (Gerald Kornreich and Claudia Pernudi), our appellate attorney, Patricia Dempsey, and with the expertise of Dr Neena Malik and Dr Miguel Firpi, our ordeal settled the last day of the trial (which was 14 - 16 Feb).

The end result: I am legally Liam's father with all rights of shared parental responsibility and time-sharing.

We are so fortunate to have such wonderful friends. To those of you that came to the court room--thank you. Your presence gave us the strength to deal with and march through the trial. I believe your presence influenced the direction of the trial. And to all our other family and friends: your notes, emails, texts, phone calls helped more than you know--thank you. Again, it truly is a village that unites and raises a family.

We are in the process of working out a re-introduction schedule that will best suit Liam. This is all about him and how he handles the transition to re-introduce us into his daily life. More details will follow (including trial details and progress updates).

The best part of last week was that my parents, brother, and niece were able to spend time with Liam in the park after the trial.
