Received word on Father's Day that we have a Status Conference scheduled in the Judge's chamber on 15 Jul 09 at 0930 (what great news on father's day--only thing better would have been spending time with Liam on that day). While I am not sure what happens in these meetings, at the very least we know that the Judge has not slammed the door shut on us. He may or may not change his previous ruling nor is he obligated to, but at the very least, this gives my attorney an opportunity to present the facts in the Verified Motion. A small but meaningful step in the right direction.
